Last month, the Partner XE User Community met at the Michigan Association for Insurance Agents (MAIA) for another successful Regional Learning event. Beyond lively banter about Buckeyes, Wolverines, and Spartans, the focus was on getting the most from Partner XE. We reviewed the latest Proposal Creator and Client Portal updates and heard from community members on how they’re maximizing these enhancements.

Our Michigan partner agencies shared some innovative ideas to help simplify workflows and make it easier to manage complex commercial business in Partner XE. SIS National Account Manager Luke Purnell led the training as a familiar name and voice to many of our Michigan clients. In addition to his energy and passion for helping agencies improve, Luke added in his natural humor, making these events both engaging and informative.

Alison Van Wyk of Partner XE agency Van Wky Risk Solutions was one of the Regional Learning attendees. “The Partner XE event in Michigan was an informative event, helping us better utilize Partner XE,” Van Wyk said of the Regional Learning. “We’ve used (Partner XE) for over three years, and it continues to improve. Our motivation to attend was three-fold: to learn about and take advantage the new capabilities, to share our ideas for further improvements, and to engage with the vibrant Partner XE agency community.” She added, “Listening and continuing to improve is what Partner XE is about.”

The insurance business is built on relationships. As a National Account Manager at Strategic Insurance Software (SIS), I have the pleasure of building many relationships with current and prospective clients each day.
Earlier this month I got the chance to build such relationships. Insurors of Tennessee gave my colleagues and I a chance to connect with close to two dozen independent insurance agency professionals at our Regional Learning workshop in Nashville, Tennessee.

Following the success of a well-attended regional workshop held in Louisville, Kentucky, Strategic Insurance Software (SIS) will host Partner XE learning workshops on January 28 in Salt Lake City, Utah and March 19 in Boston, Massachusetts.
The workshops are designed to help new and veteran users of Partner XE learn how to maximize the capabilities of the system, as well as share best practices and network with other agencies. John Ison, owner of Ison Insurance Agency, spoke of the experience his agency gained from attending the Louisville workshop:
“The seminar was a very valuable use of mine and my staff’s time. We all learned something, and put new tricks, tips, and workflows into practice as soon as we came back into the office. I will definitely come back again for a future seminar and will ask my staff to attend as well. We live on this system every day, so it is necessary for us to learn all that we can about it. The way I see it, you can only leverage three things in your business: your time, your money, and your team, and by attending these seminars and investing in Partner XE, you are doing all three and therefore maximizing your investment.”

The one-day workshop seeks to help SIS’ partner agencies maximize the benefits of their agency management system.
Building on the momentum of several well-attended regional workshops over the course of the last year and a successful national conference last spring, Strategic Insurance Software (SIS) will host a Partner XE regional user workshop December 12 at the Louisville Marriott East in Louisville, Kentucky.
Geared towards agency owners, office managers and CSRs, the interactive learning workshop will provide the opportunity for attendees to network with other Partner XE agencies and learn how to maximize the capabilities of the system.
The learning workshop is part of SIS’ continued investment in client relationships through education.
“We value providing continuing education to our clients,” said Michael Doran, President of SIS. “Our goal is to increase the number of regional user workshops and conferences to continue building the community and supporting clients no matter where they are located.”
